You just have to visit any of the colleges nearby and there, you can witness the latest accessories and clothing be it Uggs, hoodies, jeans, pants or stilettos, all can be seen on and around college campuses. Their apparels can be seen directly inspired by movie stars, sports celebs and high end fashion models. Many may wonder that how these young buds keep the fashion trend of college clothing alive and kicking whereas they are already doomed to pay rents, tuition fees and books costs to name a few. 

To satisfy their urge of fashion, many college going students pay continue visits to malls, shopping stores and browse Internet for discounts. With the advent of Internet, many students are now purchasing their clothes online also. They look for wide array of clothes and various online portals give them what they want.  The college community is one of the most fashionable groups to be found as you can figure them in relaxed or comfortable collegiate apparel and in skin hugging clothes as well. They have the best sense of timing and appropriate fashion taste too.  They keep their stock ready year round and one can see them equally fashionable and elegant in harshest of weathers too. Especially in sports seasons, one can see them sporting their favorite team in their jerseys.

By and large, college clothing can be seen as a plain Tee-shirt and jeans irrespective of gender and age.  A college professor can be seen in the similar jeans as of the student.  College students love to flaunt themselves as urbane and stylish. In libraries or at the places where they are looking for the comfort and relaxation, they can be seen in cozily dressed in oversized sweatshirts, jerseys, trousers and sweatpants. They love to blend fun, comfort and style together in their clothes.  

By any means you cannot say that collegiate apparel is nonsensical and not functional. The college students are certainly fashion crazy but they add practicality into fashion. You cannot compare college campus with a fashion runaway where one can see everything and anything for the sake of creativity and innovation.
